Details regarding the application for starting M.Ed Course |
The institution has given application in the NCTE for getting permission to start M.Ed Course. Remitted application fee, maintained endowment fund of Rs: 5.00 Lakh and Reserve fund of Rs: 3.00 Lakh. The institution has recruited qualified Teachers as per NCTE norms for M.Ed Course. We have equipped with adequate furniture, Library, Laboratory, Classrooms, General hall, multipurpose hall, Technology Lab etc. in order to start M.Ed Course in this academic year itself.
The Management of the Trust has given application in the University of Calicut for getting sanction for M.Ed Course. By considering the application, University of Calicut has appointed a sub – committee of the syndicate and the inspection by the committee has held on 19.06.2007. The committee has very much satisfied with the physical facilities of this institution and expect the sanction from the University of Calicut shortly.
The institution is expecting the visiting team of NCTE at the earliest.

More Details regarding the M.Ed Course |
The Management has given application in the NCTE and the government of Kerala has given N.O.C to start M.Ed course. The institution has obtained conditional recoginition for M.Ed course in this institute (Recognition No. F. SRO/NCTE/2007-2008/18769 dated 14-03-2008).
The institution has identified one professor. Two Readers and six Lecturers; (qualified as per norms) and all the persons will join immediately after the recognition of the course.
The institution has been appointed 1 Professor, 1 Reader and 3 Lecturers as faculty members for the M.Ed Section. The sanctioned in-take at present is 25 and institution accepts to start the M.Ed course from the academic year 2008 onwards.
Infrastructural facilities |
As per norms, the construction of the building for M.Ed course has already completed and construction of additional buildings are in progress. Constructed 2 class rooms – Lecture halls – One seminar hall, faculty rooms, separated rooms for professor, Readers, Lecturers and administrative staff has been arranged.
There exists well equipped library having an area of 2111 Sq.Feet . There exist sufficient reference books, educational encyclopedia, CD ROMs, research journals. etc. in addition to the subject books. There exists internet connection with computer ad photo copying facilities.
There exists well equipped educational technology and media laboratory (2467 Sq.ft) with hardware for projection, TV, Camera, LCD and 20 numbers of computers.

There exists a psychology lab with adequate number of items. A well equipped science lab has also maintained.
All amenities like furniture, sufficient number of bench, desk, chair, table, bookshelves etc. has been arranged. Sufficient number of toilets – separate for girls and boys has been constructed. Drinking water facility, canteen, telephone facility, parking of vehicles etc. has also arranged.
